Some come with car seats that snap into the double push chairs for ease of transition from the car to the baby buggy. Usually these car seats are sold separately but sometimes come as part of a set. When the car seats are sold with the push cars the whole outfit is sold as a travel system. The cost associated with them is usually around two hundred dollars for a low end model. The higher end model may well run over five hundred dollars some are closer to a thousand dollars. They can be quite the investment but well worth it.

They can be very wide, which can be a huge problem getting through doorways and other entrances and exits. Most are very heavy which can also pose the problem of transport. They usually will come with a five point harness system for the baby's safety, don't purchase one that does not it is dangerous and the baby's need to be secured the entire time they are in. Make sure both the chairs can recline flat, so that they can be used from birth on up to toddler hood. Another consideration before purchasing them is to check the balance and the brake system to be sure they are not easily tipped over and that the brake is easy to engage. A great way to learn about the quality is to read other consumers reviews that have purchased them, if the reviews are honest they will be very helpful in making sure they are a good option.
Double push chairs can really be a great option for families with young children close in age or with multiples. It will allow the caregiver to walk around outdoors without having to carry a baby around or drag a little tike by the hand. The cost may seem high but it is well worth the investment and will last for the time that the children need to be in them.
